For those who haven't know, Michael Bolton will be performing at Ritz Carlton Ballroom Jakarta on May 17th 2010 8PM. I am not a huge fan of Bolton but I grew up listening his songs so what better way to spend a nice cool Monday night than watching him performing live on stage, right? do you still remember the singing sensation Susan Boyle? get her album 'I dreamed a dream' in stores now...boy she did has a beautiful voice. proof: never ever judge people from their cover :)

after Chicago (canceled) then..Il Divo...then..Air Supply..then?

I was extremely disappointed when I found out that Chicago decided to cancel their world tour in Indonesia simply because of the travel warning issued by the US government. I knew that it's gonna happen again esp with only 2 months prior to the tragic bombing in JW M and R C...oh well, it's okay, who knows maybe next year I will be able to see them in USA, front row, performing with Earth, Wind and Fire*..ah that would be sooo lovely! :)

*)yeah I missed their show too at Java Jazz! SHIT! :P

and so off they go.."don't look at me, I don't want you to see me this way"

meanwhile, the promotor offers me to see Il Divo which, of course, I politely rejected. why on earth I reject it? there are several reasons:

1. I am not a big big fan or fan of Il Divo. so, it's kinda wasting my money to see a concert yet the fact I didn't follow their album. I only have 1 of their album (Ancora?!?) and rarely listen to it..;p
2. the ticket price somewhat 'INSANE'...I mean come on, the cheapest is Rp 2.000.000 for Silver up to Rp 10.000.000 for Platinum with Cocktail...this kinda reminds me with my previous experience with Sarah Brightman concert in Gran Melia. yes I did saw the concert in Gold seat but again, if it's not because of my friend's BCA card then I'll definitely ended up in Silver!
3. will be located @ R C Pacific Place ballroom...I guess you might say...instead of enjoying the concert, I might ended up sobbing and blurbing 'Shit,if only Chicago also come!!!!!'


okay...enough already about the complain and such...speaking of concert, another one will follow in October. Air Supply! yay! well..you could say that the same like Chicago, Air Supply kinda created a wonderful childhood for me. I still remember the moment when my dad used to put their song on the tape while driving the car with his pal while my mom and I sat nicely at the back listening to them...oh jolly old fun!


Promoted by Original Production, the concert will be held on October 7th 2009 @ Gran Melia Ballroom (AGAIN?!? ahh...whatever!) with ticket prices that are WAY MORE REASONABLE THAN IL DIVO!!!! the cheapest is Rp 350.000 for Silver, Gold Rp 500.000 and Platinum Rp 750.000; of course I could always go for Platinum but nah, let's keep the rest of 250K inside my saving and enjoy the performance from Gold seat.. no need to go Platinum lah...


FYI, they also open early bird before Sept 16 for special ticket 1,3million or somethin (Platinum) for 10 ppl only and they get chance to meet the personnels...oh well,, if only those offer applied earlier for Sarah's concert.....:(
